Description
bark bark bark, a project started in 2003, is the musical alias for jacob cooper and mike fay. they have struck new chord with their unique blend of video game influenced sounds and raw electroclash material. with a combination of presequenced homemade beats and sounds, analog keyboards, and acoustic instruments, its no wonder why bark bark bark has made a lasting impression on avid listeners in and around tucson, arizona; their hometown. this two piece has a lot under their belt too; other music projects and bands, soundtracks and scores for films, and studio production work. you tend to lose interest with one or two piece artists and bands; but don't be fooled by the assumption that there is a lack of work that only two people in a group can do. bark bark bark is compiled of two multi-instrumentalists, something that keeps shows moving and the crowd motivated to be receptive to their sound.
both jacob cooper and mike fay provide the floor plan for an exclusive, dirty, lo-fi, crunchy, and electronic sound, not to be mistaken with the term 'techno'; everyone should clearly realize that they despise that term with a passion. with a winning live show that includes moving visual backdrops and spitting attitudes, the boys in bark bark bark bring new ideas to the underground music table. there's no genre that this group can be delved into, which is a plus for them. bark bark bark is not only sound-attractive, they are also young. did someone say young? the new kids on the block have nothing on bark bark bark. oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. the right stuff. |
